About NASOWL

NASOWL’s governance framework is designed to uphold accountability, transparency, and inclusivity across all levels of the organization. The association operates under a well-defined structure that includes a dedicated Board of Directors, ensuring that decision-making aligns with our members' and stakeholders' needs and aspirations. This structure provides robust oversight and guidance for all NASOWL’s initiatives.

• Board of Directors: NASOWL’s Board of Directors comprises experienced professionals who oversee the strategic direction and governance of the      association. They play a vital role in upholding NASOWL’s mission, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, and advocating for the social work profession in Liberia.

• General  Assembly: The General Assembly, the highest decision-making body of NASOWL, meets annually at the end of each year. It is a platform for reviewing progress, setting strategic priorities, and electing officials who will lead the organization.

• Executive Committee: This committee, which includes NASOWL’s elected officers, meets monthly to handle the organization’s day-to-day operations, monitor ongoing projects, and address any immediate needs.

• Quarterly Meetings: Held every three months, these meetings foster broader engagement among our members, providing updates on NASOWL’s activities discussing key challenges, and reinforcing the community’s role in achieving our goals.
